I am sick of being told one thing or another by the employees. This is not the first time there has been a miscommunication about my prescription when they have been out of stock. This is terrible service. Not only did they make a mistake by giving me the wrong information, but then they got an attitude with me when I am the one reaching out to correct the situation. Sullivan’s Pharmacy is much more helpful, and I will be picking up my prescriptions there.
Called me when they were closed (called me at 630pm). Eaton Apothecary close at 5 pm. They know I need my prescription. I called back right away, and they did not answer. They just left the voice machine on. (update) Tariq called me to see if the situation had been resolved. The matter was resolved the same day. Come to find out, and they don’t stop calling patients. They just stop taking walk-ins at five and getting new requests at that time and first time using this pharmacy.
ViaQX Pharmacy is efficient, friendly, and has solved issues with lazy Drs. They go the extra step the chains don’t do. Nice when you walk into or call a hometown business, and they know you by name.
My wife and I switched to this pharmacy due to a change in our insurance, not because we wanted to. We normally went to Walgreens, sometimes CVS, or AMD independent pharmacy. My initial thoughts were that yes, it was going to be cheaper, like the insurance said, but it was going to be hell getting in and out. AMD getting pre-authorizations may be like pulling teeth. But oh. My. Goodness. I was wrong. I got after work to get my scripts, I am in and out in less than 10 minutes on average, and pre-authorizations or having to have a Dr. calendar in a refill, they have your medicine the next day. I’d give them more than. Five stars if I could.
My insurance changed my pharmacy in February. I have had Walgreens for probably 40 years, starting in MN, then FL, and now NY. So, I was reluctant to change to Galaxy Pharmacy. Well, let me tell you, this pharmacy has been absolutely wonderful! They communicate well. They called me about a price on one of my prescriptions to see if ok. They respond quickly to renewals. I am pleased to now receive my prescriptions here. Great service.
I wish I could give them zero stars. They are not very helpful and are not client-friendly. They are often nasty. They make mistakes and deny them. I would rather drive far than patronize them.
Don’t mind the one-star review. These guys are great. 90% of the staff are super helpful and friendly, and knowledgeable! I use the app too, so it helps. Oh, and go through the drive-through if you can. They don’t have priority for inside customers, so you might as well stay cozy in your car while you pick up your medication!
Wait time of an hour for drive-thru pharmacy… very unprofessional staff who will take at least 5 minutes before acknowledging you. I was very slow at getting your prescription, and apparently, whoever put mine in, only put in part of my medicine. Central Pharmacy Boston needs to retrain their staff or dissolve this place in general.
